About Us
Who we are.
Your hosts are Panos and Christa.

Panos is an original Greek who has been living in Switzerland for several years. Next to his Greek mother tongue he is also fluent in English and German. Before coming to Switzerland, Panos worked for 13 years as a professional skipper and sailing instructor in the Aegean. As a local, he knows the most beautiful bays and the best taverns, as well as the sailing essentials of local winds and weather.

Having built an interesting and successful career in Switzerland, Panos has finally succumbed to his yearning for the blue sky and salt air of the Aegean and the life-long dream of his own yacht.

Panos’ wife Christa is Swiss and shares his passion for sailing. She holds a B-permit and will, when asked, also join a sailing trip. Her main function though is being the administrative contact for registrations, queries and any organisational issues. Christa speaks fluent German, English and Italian.

Where we are

We are based in Samos, where we live for most of the year. From Zurich, there are direct flights to Samos twice a week. From Germany, Austria and most other European countries there are several direct flights a week. It is, of course, also possible to charter from Kos.
